Exhibition Introduction

“景德镇国际陶瓷艺术双年展”是由江西省文化和旅游厅、景德镇市人民政府、景德镇陶瓷大学、国际陶艺学会、中国对外文化集团联合主办。展览以瓷为媒，讲好陶瓷故事，讲好中国故事，坚定文化自信、彰显中国陶瓷创新的活力和韧性。

成功举办了两届的“双年展”不仅填补了我国作为陶瓷大国无国际性品牌学术大展的空白，而且也让世界看到中国陶瓷勇气担当、感受到中国陶瓷文化包容及创新的精神。激发了国内外陶瓷从业者创新的活力和热情，加强了中国与世界各国联系、理解与合作。

本次巡展所甄选的136件（套）作品分别来自24个国家和地区，涵盖了器皿、雕塑、装置、绘画、影像等不同技法、不同形式和不同风格的陶瓷作品。展览期间，我们还将一如既往的安排国内外院校知名教授、学者的学术讲座、对话与研讨以及学院工作室艺术家技艺展演，多角度地分享陶瓷艺术创新发展的思考和可能性。

The "Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale" is jointly hosted by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Jingdezhen Municipal People's Government, Jingdezhen Ceramic University, the International Academy of Ceramics, and the China Foreign Cultural Group. The exhibition aims to utilize ceramics as a medium to narrate the story of ceramics and China, reinforcing cultural confidence and showcasing the innovation and resilience of Chinese ceramics.

The success of the past two Biennales has not only filled a gap by providing an international academic platform for China, a major ceramic powerhouse, but it has also enabled the world to witness the responsibility and courage of Chinese ceramics, feel the inclusiveness and innovation of Chinese ceramic culture, and strengthen connections, understanding, and cooperation between China and other nations.

The selected works for encompass a variety of ceramic forms including vessels, sculptures, installations, paintings, and visual arts. During the exhibition, we will continue to arrange academic lectures, discussions, and artistic demonstrations by renowned professors and scholars from both domestic and international institutions, sharing insights and possibilities for the innovative development of ceramic art from multiple perspectives.

邀请国内外陶瓷艺术研究机构和高等院校知名教授学者、著名陶艺家、陶瓷从业者进行学术研讨。通过面对面交流对话，在独特的“陶瓷文化”框架内，推动人才培养、科研合作、文化创新、智库建设等方面的交流和合作，促进陶瓷艺术传承与发展，增进东西方文化交融与碰撞。

ARTISTS' LECTURES "CONNECTION: EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY"

邀请国内外在陶瓷艺术、陶瓷文化方面有建树和影响力的专家学者，以及陶瓷文化、文旅产业从业者通过讲座的形式，分享陶瓷艺术与美学、陶瓷艺术与观念、陶瓷艺术与科技及陶瓷艺术与生活的结合、陶瓷艺术创作理念在当代的融入与发展的问题，推动自身区域在陶瓷文化生态上迸发出新的艺术创新力，以及进一步推动陶瓷文化和艺术的当代发展，让陶瓷艺术成为一种新的世界语言，架构起国际间文化交流与合作的桥梁，丰富了陶瓷艺术的形态结构，从而建立贴合现代审美要求的新图式、新符号，赋予陶瓷这一文化载体全新的价值。

We extend our warmest invitation to eminent experts and scholars who have significantly contributed to and occupy influential positions within the realms of ceramic art and culture, alongside professionals from the ceramic culture and tourism sectors, to deliver lectures on the convergence of ceramic art with aesthetics, concepts, technology, and lifestyle. Their presentations will delve into the integration and evolution of contemporary ceramic art creation paradigms, nurturing regional artistic innovations within the ecological framework of ceramic culture. This initiative aims to further advance the contemporary landscape of ceramic culture and art, positioning ceramic art as a novel universal language that serves as a conduit for international cultural exchange and collaboration. DEMONSTRATION "SHARING: ACADEMY STUDIO ARTISTS"

学院艺术家进行青花创作、粉古彩创作、陶瓷捏雕等工艺展演，融入艺术家个人的创作理念，与大众分享陶瓷文化艺术的魅力。以传统陶瓷技艺传承与创新为理念，通过技艺展示进一步诠释新时代陶瓷艺术的学术性和思想性，丰富传统陶瓷文化的内涵和民族文化的传播方式，进一步推动陶瓷文化和艺术的当代发展。

Artists from academia, studios, and workshops conduct live demonstrations of blue-and-white porcelain creation, Duanwu red porcelain decoration, and ceramic sculpture techniques, infusing their personal artistic concepts to share the charm of ceramic culture and art with the public. Adhering to the philosophy of preserving traditional ceramic craftsmanship while fostering innovation, these exhibitions further elucidate the academic and intellectual depths of contemporary ceramic art. They enrich the connotations of traditional ceramic culture and diversify the modes of disseminating national culture, thereby promoting the modern development of both ceramic culture and art.
